I only started liking this song like literally this month.
Its buried on an album I really dont like very much surrounded by other similar songs.
Especially like insignificance, which is a song many people like that does nothing to me.
But lately Im realizing, hearing live versions, that this song, live at least, is better than the rest of them by far.
And now I like it a LOT. Its gone from like 2 to 4 for me.

I often think about how great this song would sound covered by Sleater Kinney.

Does the heavy playing on low light bother anybody but me? And yeah Eddie's vocals aren't great either anymore and so it IS a mess, I really don't enjoy that song live.

It was awesome on Letterman. That's the only time I've really enjoyed it.

One of my favorite fast songs in their catalog and one that sounds better in person than in studio.

Yes and yes. They completely neutered this song in the studio. I can't stand Matt's drum sound.
My friend and I were lucky enough to be at the Letterman debut. We were all expecting NAIS or Light Years and Grievance came out of nowhere. What an amazing performance.

You should really spend more time with Binaural. It is terrific, especially when listed to loudly. Grievance is one of PJs best protest songs. I can only hope that they have the capacity to tap into that headspace again....

I used to but its grown on me, though I do still think Eddie's live vocals are pretty hilarious
Beyond that though the two songs one after another in a live setting was cool
