Live Television Fails

I thought this would be a fun idea for a thread...

We all remember the Ashley Simpson fiasco on SNL, but does anybody remember any interesting live TV performance failures from back in the day?

I remember seeing White Zombie on an awards show and the "drummer" went out of sync with the pre-recorded backing track and the song turned into chaos. Rob Zombie looked REALLY PISSED. I haven't seen it since it aired live. Maybe someone has a youtube link? I thought it was really funny because White Zombie totally sucks.

Another one was Smashing Pumpkins playing the "electric" Disarm and they sounded really, really bad and Billy Corgan was very visibly upset about it and knocked his mic stand over with his guitar. Nobody seemed to be impressed at all.

not a fail for the band, but more a fail for the tv program.

when Nirvana went on the Top Of The Pops tv show, they were forced to use a backing track while playing. so to protest, they just pretended to play their instruments and Kurt sang his famous opera rendition.

I remember downloading this audio track on Napster way back in the day, but had no idea the story behind it until many years later. gotta love these assholes.

Lana Del Rey had a very awful performance in SNL too.

That doesn't sound as good as the version (played in the same style) from Vieuphoria, but it's not terrible.
