I just woke up this morning and was all like... 'yeah.... yeah, I'm totally ready to hear some new Pearl Jam music.'

But seriously. I'll probably just lightly rub my balls until I hear it.

Tomorrow's announcement isn't the full single.

Even if this is true, radio stations will start playing it so we'll hear the whole thing anyway.

I don't believe this. The title sounds way too much like a Ramones song to not include the line, even if flippantly.
Yes, between the title and Ed's usual MO I'm expecting something on par with a heavier Ramones.

I've watched that video a lot this morning, and if it is 2 songs, or possibly a lead in to the song and the song, i hope it is mind your manners, i really like the end of the video

I think we'll get the whole song tomorrow. I hope so anyway. Fingers crossed.

I too have listened to that video a lot this morning. I really think its 2 separate songs and I hope they're both on the album. I'm loving the sound....moody on the first and heavy balls to the wall on the second. I really hope that's MYM.

This. The key to this song booming or busting is Ed though. I'm really excited for this.
I've only just realised that it was always thus for me, with PJ. Ed was a crucial element. Apart from Ed they're just a rock band. And that has been true since Dave A left, for me personally.

I won't mind if we just get album news and a MYM teaser clip tomorrow. Even if it is just a teaser clip, it's likely to be more than 10 seconds, and most definitely more than what we have already on the tour video.

Also, I consider it a good sign that we're already abbreviating the single to MYM.

Pj has always been Eddie for me, too. Even though I like the others and they often contribute my favorite part of a particular song, Ed is what ties it all together and the albums rise and fall on him.

Me too. In my opinion Something happens once in a great while that is magical. A group of individules come together and something special happens. The music they create is at a level of artistic ability that most bands strive to reach and never really make it, or make it once and they're spent. Pearl Jam is one of those bands that just meshed from the begining. The music has changed with the change in drummers but beyond that they still create on a level that is beyond most. Individually the only one that has ever done it for me is Eddie. The others while all extremely gifted just can't seem to recreate that type of magic without Eddie, he completes the circle.

I've put more value into Ed's lyrics than him as a singer. I haven't found his lyrics anything but average the past couple of albums, probably since Riot Act. I really think the band has carried this group as of late.
