I don't like Oasis. I find their music pretty uninteresting/boring. I liked their hits when they came out cause I was a booger-eating pug-battler.

Listening to Live at San Quentin and it sounds like an act. Also, most of his songs have a pretty wholesome message.

Not trying to diminish him in any way, I love the guy, but the whole "Man in Black" thing seems like marketing.

Music is 'metaphorical', like Jorge said. They're all actors.

How much do artists get when their song is played on the radio? Metallica and Pink Floyd probably make more more now than they ever did in their heyday.
