At the end of Nemesis, he was worried that the prototype android with Data's memories wouldn't work but it stared to show a glimpse of Data and Picard walked away with a smile in his face, optimistic at the future.

Been trying to think of of all the characters in tv that you truly love and miss and will continue to miss when their series is over.

Jean-Luc is definitely up there.

So happy we get to see him again.

Color me excited. Someone else said it best--the less CGI/special fx, the better. Get back to the TNG roots dammit

This could be great or it could be contemptible. Hard to draw any conclusions from a wine bottle and a voice over.

It sounds like a pretty generic “coming back to an old character” story setup, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be done exceptionally well.
