Do you remember hearing the song? Where you were and what you were doing? It seems vaguely familiar....

Fairly certain this is a children's song. It may be part of a Laurie Berkner song that I heard on Noggin (which is now Nick Jr.) when my oldest daughter was young.

I initially thought children's song too but then I convinced myself I only felt that way because of the method of delivery. Isn't there an iphone app for this kind of problem?

This same situation has been plaguing me for years. I heard a song while playing a free-to-play video game called TrackMania Nations and I happened upon a server that was Brazilian. They feed radio stations most of the time on these servers and I heard a song that I loved but was unable to track down. It was not a Spanish-speaking band, just English. Sounded like Young Marble Giants reluctantly fucking CSS on ecstacy. The only thing I can recollect is that it was a poppy post punk track where the main lyrics where "You hypnotize me" and the pre-chorus featured the lyrics "Put it in a tree". Google has failed me due to how Big E's track pops up when I try to dig deeper. I have admitted defeat, but I just wanted you to know that I know that feel.

It's possible. It's a very very simple melody, which is what makes me think of children's music. But there's also a bit of sentimentality to it, so it could be some horrible Richard Clayderman bullshit piano piece.

I still haven't found what I'm looking for. Keep the suggestions coming, people. Soma, stop picking fights.

Solid advice. Does my limited description bring anything to mind? Help me. I'm dying.
Edit: Accidentally a wine.
