Is Liv Tyler playing the same character that she did in Armageddon?

Yes, it's part of a shared cinematic universe.

She should stop dating astronauts.

Was all in on this. Then I saw the newest trailer. Liv Tyler is in it and plays a pouty faced girlfriend, apparently. They probably just took unused shots from Armageddon. Ugh.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

New trailer shows a scene with pouty faced Liv Tyler on a screen presumably telling her bf Brad Pitt not to go on the mission, and him telling her he has to, but he'll be back. Only speculating because I watched it with no sound. I love me a Brad Pitt movie, but man, she's gonna have some work to do to keep me in this.

Just read a review of this. I like where Gray is getting his influences, even if the reviewer thought it might have been too obvious.
