Song is OK. Doesn't really go anywhere. Rogers sounds great!

The song is ok, but the production sounds great! Sounds much better than 'Endless Wire'.
Was not expecting or anticipating this album. These guys are well in their seventies now, in the extra time of their recording career.
It's easy to post negative comments on the interwebs, but Im just glad that these guys are still around and celebrating their legacy. In a couple of years it will all be over and we will forever thankfull for their original run. One of the greatest rockbands of all time!

It’s fine. It’ll never not be absurd to me that they label this The Who, though, and not “Pete T with Roger D.”
I’m not sure any rhythm section has ever been as crucial to or taken such a distinctly lead role in any band’s sound. That frenetic insanity, with the guitar holding it all together while the drums and bass openly ache to run completely unchecked, is probably my favorite rock band sound of all time.

I saw them 2 years ago & Pete was adamant that it was their last tour.

Yeah, not a very rock and roll thing to say but this is very agreeable.

(Not exactly the timeliest of lyrics though.)

Damn. Last night’s show in Houston didn’t go for long.
Pete Townshend says “thank God” Keith Moon, John Entwistle are dead: “They were fucking difficult to play with”
The Who guitarist also adds, "We’re not a band anymore."

I love The Who but Pete is an idiot. Those difficult to play with people were elements of what elevated the songs that Pete wrote. It's like saying clay is easier to mold than a diamond. Maybe, but I'd far rather have the diamond on my ring than a lump of clay.

I do too but Pete doesn't seem to understand or acknowledge is that the 'difficult' was what made them special.
