Smiths have a couple songs I like. But I'm not really all that familiar.

another, who has a fanatical following, just like PJ. but i was wondering how his lyrics translate to Americans..do you/they "get it"??

As good as Morrissey and Johnny Marr were..Morrissey has shone brilliantly on his own.

Love The Smiths and really like his early solo stuff. "Vauxhall and I" was probably the last album of his that I really liked.

Americans seem to do just fine with him.

"panic" is one of my favorite songs, but i think i hate everything else he's done. he's also incredibly annoying w/ the animal loving.

He's great.

I saw him last year. It was awesome. His band is solid and the new arrangements of old Smiths songs were great. I wrote this about the show I saw. I'd definitely see him again.

thats a cracking set llist Platypus....all my favs.on there except "irish blood english heart". Morrissey is definitely on my to do list.

Like warehouse, I'm annoyed by his militant animal-rights stance, but that version of "Meat is Murder" was fucking intense.

question for you Platypus.
the world knows that the Argentinian crowds are amazing at gigs. the best in the world. how was the crowd for Morrissey there? is he "huge" in south america?

Every Day is Like Sunday is a great, GREAT fucking tune. Love that thing.

I'm a huge Moz fan, though I will admit I'm not as fond of him lately.
