Not to alarm anyone but Hollywood reporter suggesting Kevin Feige might be doing a star war
They had one movie that didnt do well. Nothing bombed. That was just not a movie that needed to be made and it wasn't that good.VinylGuy wrote:I know im on the small number here who doesnt really care about whats going to happen with SW after TROS, but still i think this was meant to happen.
SW failed at became an event with the two movies per year plan, and i guess going after this guy was the right move..

Star Wars isn't Marvel. It doesn't have decades and decades of storytelling and hundreds of beloved characters to pull from. Star Wars is also, it seems by the reaction of the masses, best as AN EVENT movie. Meaning, it needs build up and time and space between. People want Star Wars to feel special. They don't want it be be twice or three times a year.VinylGuy wrote:I wasnt talking about box office numbers. I was talking about SW movies becoming an event outside the so called Skywalker saga.

Goddamn you. Goddamn you straight to hell.Strat wrote:I hate marvel.
yeah, but disney want SW to be Marvel joe. Since they got the property and made tons of movies and now series. Thats why they are getting Feige now.durdencommatyler wrote:Star Wars isn't Marvel. We'll see if the TV shows move that needle at all. But Disney not forcing Star Wars to behave like Marvel is smart.
We'll see. But I don't think that's their thought process, as I said.VinylGuy wrote:yeah, but disney want SW to be Marvel joe. Since they got the property and made tons of movies and now series. I don't think it's a bad idea, there are gonna be a lot of people that are done with star wars when the skywalker saga is done. They need a guy to take it in the right direction.dimejinky99 wrote:I’m fuckin alarmed I don’t want that cookie cutter forgettable marvel crap in Star Wars
Yet here we are
