This isn't a very fair match up. Green... is a nice lil ditty. The Final Cut is a monster.

Not really feeling either of these. I'm not liking any of the Final Cut songs so far, and the title track's not different. "Green" is simplistic and kinda tossed off, but it's a full tune unlike some of the competition this round. I'll go with it because it's a little more appealing.

save for not now john, i'm not sure i can vote for a tfc song by itself - none of them really do much for me outside of the album context. i love the countrified floyd of the late 60s. pretty easy vote for me here.

I love The Final Cut album. Some great songs in there. It really is basically Roger’s first solo album though.
