Louder than Words is quite pleasant if a little twee at times. As the possible last Floyd track ever it's quite fitting though probably not as fitting as High Hopes would have been. I guess I'm glad it exists.
Matilda is great. It's all I love about early Floyd.

i like that endless river and more explicitly louder than words basically admits what everyone already knew in that the band was better as a whole than the sum of its parts. i dunno, as a longtime fan it was kind of refreshing to see that honesty laid bare, and that it was deliberately chosen to be their final statement. yes, high hopes is a much better song, but i'm ok with them going out reflecting on their band this way.

I'd vote for Matilda Mother over most other songs in this thing.
