Television

Post by JuanHamm »

Over the last month I have been exploring the music of the 70s and Marquee Moon is one of the standout albums I've listened to.

My favorite tracks are Friction and Torn Curtain.

Any fans here? What do you guys think about their second album? I like it, but I definitely miss the raw style of the first. The songs are good its just too slick.

I listened to Call Mr Lee and it was fine, but again, not what I'm looking for out of Television.

I'm going to keep listening to adventure, it's really growling on me

I've spent a lot of time with Marquee Moon and Adventure these last few weeks and I think I now prefer Adventure.

My top 5 TV tracks at the moment are:

1. Torn Curtain
2. The Fire
3. Elevation
4. Days
5. Ain't that nothing

That live album The Blow Up is cool, some dodgy sound but great playing. Their arrangement of Knockin on Heavens Door is
