Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I'm still hopeful that it will wash away the taste of that last abomination

Wolfhard was unsure if he would get the role as he had already dressed up as a Ghostbuster during the second season of Stranger Things and that "Jason Reitman is probably not even going to look at my tape" because of that.[46]

What's wrong with Jason Reitman?

This looks fun but as of now i get this feeling that ....yea.....its just going to try and reap the benefits of Stranger Things much like the the remake of It. Doesnt help by casting that kid.

Im hoping there is more involvement from the original cast as well.

Initial reaction.

Looks fun. I'm guess Egon buried the big ghost trap thing out in the middle of nowhere and it's gotten unstable after his passing and stuffs getting out? Maybe?

In addition, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts have been confirmed to be reprising their roles from the first two Ghostbusters films.[49][7][45]

I think the fact that you hear Murray in the VO is telling. I don't expect those characters to be major but I do expect more than one or two scene cameos from most of them.
