Really good pilot!

Promising...

I watched the pilot.

It's promising. There is a lot of back story to leak in and the potential for a lot of butting heads in these relationships.

But what bothers me is that Ray Donovan (Liev Schreiber) is yet again another leading character and supposed family man who takes part in untamed adultery. It's a character flaw that is growing tired with the likes of: Tony Soprano, Tommy Gavin, Hank Moody, Don Draper etc. I get it. Our leading man has flaws. But if you're going to paint him as devoted family man then do it. I'm happy Vince Gilligan didn't send Walter White down that path.

Just finished season 1, a few eps into 2. Pretty great show. Funny how many issues get resolved with a simple baseball bat.

You won't be disappointed. The entire cast is great.

Just finished season one. Top notch stuff. Really enjoyable. Cast are all incredible.

Ok I've pretty much binge watched all three seasons of this and it's excellent. As good as any of the great series. Any reason it doesn't get any RM love?

RM has always had a thing against Liev Schreiber. I don't understand why.

I thought he was brilliant! Fully owns the character and love his whole less is more approach, just portrays the character perfectly. Every single one of the main cast are incredible. I wanted to smash John Voights character in the face so many fuckin times. He plays a brilliant part too.

Great show, it's up there with my favourites.

Like, I don't even know what channel its on. And I'm a huge Liev Schreiber fan. And this is something I remember being super pumped about when it premiered.

Also, I thought it was cancelled.
