Crowd enthousiastic about Boom !

How long has it been since Thumbing my way came so early in a set ? Here is the first time they play it live.

What about Thin air ? Would you like to ear so early on ? Boom adds interesting melodies.

I didn't watch the DVD in the last 12 years or so and the set willl mostly be a surprise... picture wise, it looks at most like a good bootleg.

I’ve always really liked the daughter/ war tag on this....I miss passionate Ed.

i loved it when the dvd was released, but looking back it's a little bit lame. "fuck me. fuck you. no war. no-ver my dead body. fuck you."

The setlist is pretty cool. As noted, Ed is passionnatw. The band is on fire. Stone is pretty chill.

Ed smokes a cigarette between You are and RVM. Awesome stuff ! Poor video quality, but intimate show and gpod performance. It's a warm up shpw with being performed for the first time. Would like to sse this now !

I think there’s a chance of at least one warm-up show this year given they’ve had a relatively long break from live performance (is it their longest break?) and they have a bunch of new songs to play.

Well, it's not Blu-ray, it's professionally shot, but mainly from the crowd pov...

I wouldn't call it poor quality, tho.

Love this DVD, and much prefer it to the Garden DVD. My college age self flew into Seattle for the Key Arena shows with a friend and the area was abuzz with the fact that these shows happened the previous two nights.

Stone is super reserved; I wonder how he looks back on this period? Might have to double check the PJ20 book.

I remember watching Blood in Key Arena two/three days after this and being really appreciative of how strong the band was twelve years into their career. After the 2000 post-roskilde tour uncertainty they were in the process of cementing their resolve to continue on. Great time in PJ fandom; maybe the highlight for me.

I’ve always hated this because I waited outside for a while and couldn’t get a ticket.
