Does anyone else realize this man's musical and lyrical genius? I've always been a fan of Sebadoh, Folk Implosion and other projects of his. I recently took a listen to Emoh, his first "solo" record listed under his actual name, and man can he write some beautiful songs.

Most underrated songwriter of the 90s...

To each his own. I just can't seem to get enough right now.

On Fire, Two Years Two Days, Rebound, Ocean to name a few Sebadoh gems. Solo stuff, Holding Back the Year and Caterpillar girl I just find brilliant.

Enough. You're ruining the Lou Barlow thread. And I happen to really like Lou Barlow. So stop.

I like it, but most of these are Loewenstein songs. Barlow has always been the better songwriter of the two.

Great read.
Although Dinosaur Jr. is more consistent, I always preferred Sebadoh. Bakesale is better than anything Dinosaur Jr. has produced.
