At quick glance, the viper logo right above the number on the jerseys looks like an ice cream cone

I believe it has potential, but there is a reason none of these guys are in the NFL.durdencommatyler wrote:Is this thing any good at all?

Re: XFL
I dont think ill get to watch any of the 2nd game today, daughter was getting fussy so i put baby first tv on for her, but so far in the first 3 games no one has tried 2 forward passes. The most interesting differences so far are the 1, 2, or 3 point extra point tries, and getting to see and hear the talk on reviewed plays

Id say its definitely worth checking out, and with the limited time these teams have been together, the play on the field with keep getting better.Bammer wrote:I may never watch a game but the 5 minutes of highlights on Sportscenter were enjoyable. Recognized a name here and there.
As long as Vince is willing to lose some money for a bit i think this has a chance to be successful. And i definitely hope so, a few more months of football in the NFL downtime ia good to me

Doesn’t have anything to do with XFL, from what I’ve seen. There are some investors questioning Vince’s workload, but the stock tanked because he fired the CFO and CEO and the earnings outlook isn’t great compared to past years.verb_to_trust wrote:I saw WWE shares have been plummeting

Re: XFL
I'm not a football fan, but I just got YouTube tv and wasn't doing much this weekend so I watched two games and enjoyed them quite a lot.
I'm not an expert, but the games definitely felt like they flowed better than NFL and wonder if the lower overall quality of the players might act make it more exciting because there are more errors (which tends to be the case with lower league soccer)

I didn't watch any of it, and I doubt I will watch any of it. I regularly get burned out from watching football after the Super Bowl. I'm looking much more forward to when NFL free agency begins.

Re: XFL
I watched a few of the games and was pleasantly surprised. I'm sure the level of play will increase as they move forward in the season.
The 25 play clock is great as well as the behind the scenes transparency of reviewed plays.
Kick-offs are pretty neat as well

As long as there aren't more penalities. They should also try Al eliminate all the things that are infuriating about the NFL official reviews.

They seem to have their shit together this time and also much more than that other league that just failed. I know it's only one week, but what I saw wasn't cringeyverb_to_trust wrote:As long as there aren't more penalities. Re: XFL
Hearing the talk about it today made me kind of excited for next week. I watched this past weekend just to see how bad it would be and was plesently surprised, but the good buzz it had today has me looking forward to good play instead of the potential train wreck i was watching for.
And hopefully the tampa turnover curse doesnt last the whole season
