First two Foo Fighters albums were great. You're all just a bunch of cynical assholes.

First album has like three really good songs and then a bunch of shrugworthy nothings. Second album is the same but with slicker production

I might like their third album better than either of those because it's got that New-Wave-but-loud aesthetic to it ("Live-In Skin", "M.I.A" and "Aurora" are good), but it also has a bunch of middling MOR radio stuff ("Next Year"? "Generator"? "Learn to Fly"? Blech) which keeps it firmly in "mediocre" territory

Even if one album is "great" (Reid's words not mine), the rest are mediocre. I'd say that's consistently mediocre

This and Foo Fighters. No FF album is GREAT. The closest is Wasting Light. FF are the perfect greatest hits band, which is why that is what they play every night at their shows.
