Hunters episode 1 was long and kind of dull. the opening scene was terrible. the FBI agent story is more interesting than any of the others.

in its defense I didn't know it was movie-length until after I watched it: it's 90 minutes long.

I can't see how they thought that opening scene was a good idea. it's in basically all of their trailers - the girl doing the finger point "NAZI!" thing - and it goes on for an interminable amount of time with screaming and she's screaming at people and in their faces and after like five minutes of this you want to turn it off.

There's a scene right after they watch Star Wars (it's set in 1977) and the writers basically tell you how the season will proceed and end. If it doesn't go exactly the way they set it up then I either give them credit for a heck of a red herring or a demerit for hack writing, I'm not sure yet. I have a feeling it will though because of the way the episode ended, little bit of reinforcement to that idea.

the FBI story so far is my favorite part and she's great in every single scene she's in. again this is a slight against the writers but there's a scene where she's trying to figure something out and the guy stops her mid walk and gives her the most cryptic fucking clue - that only the people watching this take place could figure out - and then continues walking.

I just think that it could have been shortened by 15-20 minutes to help like it more.

I thought they’ve only had a couple of episodes. I was waiting for them all to air before I started it. Same with McMillion$

Mcmillions is HBO. They do one a week.

This is Amazon. They are all available

I know McMillion$ is HBO. I didn’t realize Amazon dumped all theirs at once like Netflix.

we just finished episode four.

the person who does the music also did the music for the Channel 4 series Utopia that aired back in 2013/2014. I didn't know until the end of the second episode when I saw the name and I was like "That's why I keep thinking about that series!"

I just finished it. Ehhhh. Super predictable ending. I hate shows that just set up for a second season like they know there will be one.

is this the least impressive thing that Jordan Peele's been involved in?

Im thinking of watching this one but at the same time, its just too long i think.

I prefer to invest that time in movies.

idk, I'm not high on his movies like everyone else. This was good up until the end. Although I called the "twist" about an episode before it happened.

Well, I guess we'll get there eventually, but
Spoiler: show
did they explain the ending in the first episode, right after they came out of Star Wars?
yes/no will suffice.

The ending of what? The whole show? And they came out of Star Wars towards the beginning of the episode. Not sure what you are asking?

when they came out of Star Wars he gave a long speech about how Darth Vader wasn't really a bad guy, he was just surrounded by bad people and he thought he was doing the right thing. my theory is that applies to the American fixer and he redeems himself at some point.

Umm, I guess that could be applied? Not really though. I wouldn't read too much into that
