Red Mosquito

First off I am a huge fan of the band. I am also will to admitt when they suck. Pearl Jam seems to have a formula to song writing. The pop punk thing they do makes Mike look cheesey, Stone look disintrested, Matt bored, Jeff pissed and Ed happy as a lark. The singer song writer folk thing has Mike looking cheesey, Stone looking disinterested, Matt bored , Jeff pissed and Ed as happy as a lark. So we Know Ed loves punk and that is great and I would be the first to purchase a 20 song 35 min record Ed solo with like the Mescaleros backing him. Into the wild may be my favorite album of all time. Pearl jam however makes some of the greastest hard rock songs of all time so where are they now. On the last few albums they have showed up a bit Servered Hand comes to mind, but I think we all know that Mike is into Ufo Kiss Iron Maiden. So is Stone I believe. Matt is into jazz and trash.
Vs's blends the likes of band in a great way. So does Yield. They need more of that. Just my take

Just to nitpick, The Mescaleros weren't really a punk band at all. "Minstrel Boy" is a 17-minute long Irish folk instrumental.

I just meant they would be a good backing band for Ed to do what he wants as a solo artist, but now that I think of it he would be better served to go to Hot topic hire the workers to be his band take them to the wood shed and show them a few chords.
