Comes the summer rain
A cue to lighting and far off thunder again
Projecting through the clouds
And meditations lifting out in the sound
The more mistakes the more resolve
It’s gonna take much more than ordinary love
To lift this up
Stars align they say when things are better then right now
Feel the retrograde spin us round round round
Seven seas are raising forever future’s fading out
Feel the retrograde all around round round -
Accelerate the change
Feeling equal opposite all the same
Momentum rearranged
Shout the echo, turning back but now changed
The rusted shapes refuse to fall
It’s gonna take much more than ordinary love
To lift this up
Stars align they say when times are better than right now
Feel the retrograde spin us round round round
Seven seas are raising forever future’s fading out
Feel the retrograde all around round round
Hear the sounds in the distance now
Could be thunder or a crowd
Feel the sound (feel the sound)

Some nice atmosphere in this that keeps it from sounding like another EV solo song. I like this one best out of the last 3.

Maybe it is the different production that makes it ok for me?

Whoever Said this is cheesier than Sirens was wrong; it doesn't try to rise to those bombastic heights, which is more like older don't-overdo-it Pearl Jam
that said, it's the most Lightning Bolt of these songs

Funny that it's a holdover from the abandoned Brendan O'Brien sessions.
I guess they really wanted Mike to get at least one song on the record.
Anyway, I haven't heard it yet. Won't get the chance til later.

Mike should stay to riffs and electric guitars.

Certainly the most LB song, but I don't hate it. The ending is fun.
