Going to be tough to beat Dance of the Clairvoyants. Need to hear the album to be certain. Really enjoy several of the songs. Buckle Up, Alright, Quick Escape.

Not ready to commit to this just yet. DotC, Quick Escape, Buckle Up all in the running.

After one listen, I think I agree with you. My opinion is subject to change of course.

Dance is great but I dunno... I'm a sucker for emotional and quirky, which is why Alright is maybe my favourite.

"Buckle Up" is gorgeous, one of the most interesting things the band has ever done

Quick Escape is the standout, I put that up against anything this band has ever done. DoTC is great, a 5 star song too but it's not the one I would pick if I had just one option. In fact, I put Who Ever Said (that part from 2:30 onwards is probably my favourite thing on the whole album) and Comes Then Goes (it's so obviously about Chris Cornell and the lyrics plus delivery made me tear up, THE most emotional PJ song since forever) at par with DoTC.

I'm not even mentioning a few other songs that I have at 5 stars now (because I'm not sure if they will stay there). The ones I did mention are just all time great songs for me, not best since Riot Act or Yield or whatever. They are just great songs that stand up to the band's best.

Take the long way or Buckle Up.

I need more Matt and Stone songs!!!

Being subjective: Quick Escape, Seven o'clock or Retrograde.

Dance

Quick Escape & Comes Then Goes are up there in contention as well.
