When Post-Hardcore is at its best, it’s probably my favorite genre. There are no other albums in the world that hit for me quite like At the Drive-In’s Relationship of Command and Glassjaw’s Worship and Tribute (and trust me, I have LOOKED).

is one jangle pop different from the other?
not being a smart ass either, just wondering if there was a word missing before or after jangle.

first one refers to the early stuff like early rem/dunedin sound/go betweens/even sarah records (but that counts mostly as twee i think), and also new music that sounds like that (there's especially some good australian bands like twerps).
second one is all the chorus watery-guitar core jangle that sounds kinda like mac demarco

twerps are so good, so is dick diver
i'm not a fan of mac demarco, but i might have to check out some of his stuff again and decide if my disdain was just residual contrarianism

re: demarco, 2 through Another One is good. I never really got into the last two albums. I saw him when he toured behind 2. It was in a tiny venue and he'd just come up from SXSW. There might have been like twenty people in the crowd, but he still played like it was a packed house. I kind of appreciated that.
