Although, is this the only representation Prince has in this whole tournament?

Lionel Richie's weird fake accent "All Night Long" is very annoying

Lionel Richie shouldn't get one fucking vote in this match. Goddamnit RM!

If it was The Family version, you wouldn’t be saying that.

That if it was the version of the song not sung by a woman, you’d be voting against it.

I thought I was going to be the only one voting for All Night Long here, but evidently not.
NC2U is OK but it's still a Prince song and the production feels so murky and cluttered, especially for such a relatively simple song. What's going on with those drums?
In contrast, ANL is so delightfully crisp and it's just more enjoyable to listen to, at least it feels that way to me right now.

ANL soothes me.
NC2Y makes me anxious.
I'll go with Lionel.

Lionel
I probably wouldn't even vote for Chris Cornell's NC2U over it.

I don't appreciate what you're getting at here.
BUT, to your vulgar point, I will counter by saying... the same could be said of any of these songs. We aren't voting for every version of the song, just the one in the contest. I wouldn't vote for Chris Cornell's Billie Jean over a lot of these songs. But Jackson's should probably win this whole thing. The sex/gender of the artist has fuck all to do with it.
Sinead's version of this song is immaculate. Not because she's a woman, but because in this particular song her phrasing is heartbreaking and visceral. She uses her instrument masterfully. I think she's a genius and this is top tier Sinead. Her version of this song has so much emotion, empathy, compasion, and nuance. It's a layered and unfolding experience bordering on profound.
All Night Long doesn't hold a candle to it. And I like All Night Long!
