i actually have two different sources of 10-10-98. one source, the drums are really hot and sound great, but the guitars aren't nearly as audible. the second one i think had a fuller mix, and you could hear ed better if i remember. although i personally preferred the sound of the first source i mentioned. regardless, this little show was awesome! and they were dead on with these songs. matt just pounds away on the drums and his fills are excellent this show, maybe the tightest and best i've heard him play. its a pretty flawless set and it was intense, but fun. the band really sounded great. its one of my faves..

Cool, do you have the source info for each? Be nice to know which of those two described I have atm.
This one I've posted is as follows: Source: Marcsounds > Sony D100 > DAT-C > DA-20 > Monster coax > Nomad Jukebox 3 (coax mod) > CD Wave 1.95.1 > flac

haha no, unfortunately i have no idea. i've had em for years and the info was lost in the shuffle. i remember getting the one source a while ago, and then years later i decided to download it again instead of transferring it to another computer, and it sounded waaay different. i didn't know there were two sources. from what i remember, it wasn't easy to tape or take pictures at this small club show, so it was interesting to me that two people taped it. right on!
