This is kinda cool.
Pearl Jam has decided to include a GA pit in front of the stage at each venue taking up 1/3 - 1/2 of the floor. Ten Club has acquired the entire GA pit for fan club members only; therefore there will not be a need for early entry. Please know there are less GA pit tickets available in the drawing then there are reserved seated tickets. If you are not interested in standing for the entirety of the show, do not enter the drawing for GA tickets.

countdown letdown aside, I like the music I'm hearing in the promo vid.

How will the band rationalize it in their minds when these southern dates don't sell well. I'm sure they probably expect roses to be thrown at their feet like returning heroes but I think its far more likely they are going to be greeted with some empty seats.

which is probably why they don't play those venues.

That's another problem leading with the tour dates--places without shows get nothing out of this.

I think the only important thing in that video is the riff at the end when they show the tour dates.

DUDE My birthday is on November 16th. I live in San Antonio, tx. I'm deffinately going to Dallas! I wonder what the chances are of me getting GA tickets if I'm not a member of the TEN club....haven't really felt the need to renew since they haven't been to Texas in so long. What do you guys think?

Why is everyone so pissed off at a tour announcement? Would you rather no tour?

You have a countdown clock to announce that tickets are going on sale in 19 days?

not everyone can share in the tour announcement, and it doesn't quite have the follow you all day impact that album info would have.

It's not bad news. It's just underwhelming news.

I said somewhere else that I kinda like the countdown to new info gimmick. But this was a poor lead in.

It's news not worthy of a huge countdown.

A countdown clock for this? A countdown clock made me think something epic would come at 0 for me it didn't . I am sure I will be at the Seattle show in FIVE months , and when the opening notes of Release echo though the arena I will forget all the buttermilk this band has made me drink, and will only taste the kool aid. For now disapointed was really looking forward to hearing something new.As for the music on the video it sounds great. Maybe with any luck I will feel different in 3 days or maybe longer.
