Does anyone know where that recording is from and who is singing on it with Ed? Is it an outtake from Sweet Relief? What year was it recorded? I have it on a compilation (that I probably got from some kind soul on this board 10 years ago), but can't locate it anywhere on the internet.

I believe it came out in 95 or 96. It’s on YouTube, nothing to write home about. Ed has like one tiny verse, then some buried background vocals.

Oh and to answer Hatfield’s initial question, it is indeed Victoria Williams on the track, who plays a much bigger role in the song

Though a small role, ed sounds absolutely fantastic. I have the mp3 and it comes up on occasion.
