JPJ is probably my favorite indoor arena. Too bad the show is during the week.

Another 14,500 seat venue that means better sound and a more intimate performance. Anyone seen a gig here? Excited they're playing new cities and different arenas.

Saw Dave Matthews Band there in 2006. Pretty compact arena, even the upper levels at the back of the arena are pretty decent seats (where I saw DMB from).Will wrote:Another 14,500 seat venue that means better sound and a more intimate performance. we just saw sigur ros last night and damn the place seems too small for a PJ show, i really hope they will play a nice intimate show because of it.

For those who have been here before, what's the crowd like? Frat boys? I recall UVA kids had a certain style from when the would play UMD in football.

I've only been there once, but the crowd was good (Sigur Ros) minus a few drunken "woo" girls sitting in our section.
