Honest question: Is this really the first time someone has put together a map?

Nah there’s loads of maps and attempts at them. Especially in the reference books. There’s even a Star Wars atlas book.
Trouble is as more content arrives these maps and books become obsolete.

There is an interactive online map somewhere online fan made that you can zoom in and all that
I dint remember the address but it’s out there

Actually, you can zoom in for a lot of detail. If we had some idea what region of space it was in or what planets it was near, I might be able to find it.
