Hamilton

Post by B »

Ok. I finally finished this on Disney+.

Here's my hot take.

I had a hard time following the plot without Wikipedia, and I think 70% of white people who say they love it are just faking it.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I think we can do better with Eliza and King George. Otherwise, along with Jorge's Strat casting, this is outstanding.

EDIT: Also, Human Bass is not allowed to participate. Even if he was, there's no goddamn way he's worthy of one of the best parts in the show.
