I do. The show has been inconsistently up & down over it's run but it has been pretty good this season four episodes in.

The Americans actually did a good job at a tv show remake for once.

I didn't realise the new season had started.

Another good one last night. This year there's been a noticeable uptick in quality. An okay A story but then a change in direction in the last scene to make the B story much more relevant to the arc of the series. I wonder if they're going to make a more dramatic turn with Ryan the rest of the season?

i enjoy the mix of funny episodes with "fuck with your head with wilfred's meaning" eps

is this the first season the little animated loop of wilfred unzipping to become ryan unzipping to become wilfred has appeared? there's meaning in that, right? the implication seems to be that wilfred is a manifestation of ryan's mind. it'd be cool if it somehow ended up that ryan did kill himself and he is a manifestation of wilfred's mind, but i don't see how that's possible given all of the interactions his character has with others.

this week's big laugh for me was jenna shitting with her legs crossed.

Easily the best season so far, the writers have done a great job of adding to the show's mythology without taking it to absurd extremes. It can have some light, adult Calvin & Hobbes moments but the shift to a heavier tone with Ryan's condition has been paying off really well. Forget just being my favorite summer series, this season deserves to be ranked as one of my favorite series of the year.
Parts of last night's episode reminded me of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, the two scenes where Ryan regressed to his childhood while in therapy. To successfully pull that feat off earned my respect.
Yes, this is the first time the animated loop has been on the titlecard. But the show already tipped its hand several times that "Wilfred" is some manifestion of Ryan's mental illness but all the pieces have yet to be laid out explicitly.
And I'm pretty sure if I ever saw Jason Gann in public I would think he looked familiar but wouldn't know where I recognized him from.

The final season is off to a great start. Bravo to FX for letting this shit continue for 4 seasons. It can't be making the network any money.

I've always wanted to get into this show. Just seems like a fun concept. I might have to hit up the netflix this weekend.

It's a shame most people I tell to watch, dismiss this show based upon the premise of it.

I like this show too, looking forward to seeing how it wraps up. There has been some really good ones during its run. We know a lot of it is in Ryan's head and/or delusions but it has done a great job of teasing us what is real and what is not. Tonight's episode got odd & dark, not necessarily a bad thing as it winds down. It was almost bizarre seeing Jason Gann taking off the suit.

yeah, that was weird to see. Ryan's sister is a babe, too.

So it appears Wilfred is going to die by the series end. I'm not exactly surprised but I wasn't expecting him to get hit by a car with three episodes to go either. I wonder if that will play back into the Matdamon/Krungel mythology? I don't think there will be a tidy resolution to everything but I'm not looking for answers and tie backs to everything either.

What matters most is the last episode was hilarious.

I think I'm the only person I know looking forward to seeing how this wraps tonight. I'll be disappointed if it's not all trippy & existential.

It would be cool if Fxx would re-run the Robin Williams episode before the finale. It's a good one (albeit out there) and timely given the circumstances.
