In the No Code era I was away at school and I received something I always wondered about. I was due for a renewal to my 10C membership and asked my mom to send in my renewal... anyway I was home on break and had an envelope from 10C and opened it up and there was nothing inside but a tiny "stamp" that had a pic on the front like one of the polaroids on the album cover and on the back was hand written "to Diane, Love Eddie" and of course my Mom's name is Diane (who sent the check for renewal). I've always wondered if this was common in that era?

I've got it in a little frame somewhere in the house.

Anyone else get something like this, is there a story to it or what?

This reminds me of that episode of Archer where Archer meets his idol Burt Reynolds only to discover that Burt Reynolds is banging his Mom.
