It’s a testament to how strong that era was for them that Rival is like a middle of the pack song.

I think Rival is maybe the best or second best song of that era. That and NAIS are two of the only pre-gigaton songs where Jeff or Stone wrote the lyrics and I genuinely love the songs. I'll ramble on about it more in a later round.
Into the Wild has great moments. End of the Road is not one of them. It's a sketch of a song that feels like it was included to pad the album length. Boring song, and boring performance.

I used to not care for Rival very much, it it has grown quite a bit for me. Rival gets my vote.
