I think Red Mosquito is rated about right. I'll save a longer post for it for next round. Evacuation has some pretty decent verses (and an overrated bridge), but I don't like the clench teeth nasal singing that Eddie is doing, and the chorus is utterly wretched.

EVACUATION

Let's take Evacuation all the way.

I have come around to Evacuation, but Red Mosquito is one of the best Pearl Jam songs.

Similar to something like Immortality, Red Mosquito is one of those highly beloved songs that I never really go back to. There's nothing bad about it, I enjoy it when listening through No Code, but I rarely if ever seek it out. I will do that with Evacuation, and it gets my vote.

Evacuation's chorus is impressively detrimental to the song's well-being.

Red Mosquito doesn't sit as high as it used to for me.

Evacuation's chorus used to be a deal breaker for me but now I can get along with it.

I do like Evacuation, but not as much as a standalone song. It works much better in the opening 1-2-3 punch of Binaural.

Yeah, if I put on the album, I don't skip it these days like I did for a long time. But on its own, I'd vote for most of their catalog over it, I think.
