Red Mosquito

This is kind of a nothing matchup for me. I like the music in otherside but I really don't like the vocal melody or Eddie's performance (it's one of those midcareer midtempo songs that always seem just a little like passionless slogs to me). And I think Jeff's lyrics worth best when he is trying to sketch an abstract idea rather then tell a story.


Anything in Between is sketch of a song. Melody is nothing, riff isn't that great, solo feels a bit like it belongs to a different song.

Otherside, I suppose

Anything in Between. No contest for me.

I pressed stop on Anything In Between a few seconds ago and I've already forgotten what it sounds like. And Otherside is really awesome.

I remember my excitement when Anything in Between first showed up, and I also remember how quickly that excitement disappeared. I still occasionally listen to Otherside, which puts it miles ahead of Anything in Between.
