Of the Earth gets my vote. It has its moments - some nice guitar interplay and some impassioned moments from Eddie. But man is this thing overlong, and a Porch Jam this isn't. Way too many moments that just go nowhere.

Of the Earth. 10 minutes is way too much, but a hypothetical studio cut wouldn't be that.

I think the idea of Of The Earth, especially in the era of PJ when it came about, ended up being more interesting than the song itself, but I still think there's enough good stuff in there to enjoy it. I like most of the individual sections, even if they sound stitched together (this is a constant issue for latter PJ, but it's especially noticeable at moments here). But if Eddie's voice is workable, the verse and chorus is fun.
