124. Be Like Wind vs. Get It Back

This is a nothing matchup for me. Be Like Wind is an okay filler instrumental that I always forget the sound of. But Get It Back is pretty boring, and was a let down after how good everything on Gigaton was. I might actually lean towards Be Like Wind. I expect much less of it, but it delivers what I expect (and the guitar tones on it are kind of interesting)

Get It Back is better than half of Gigaton. There were the bones of a bloody good record there.

Get It Back is good. Not sure I've ever listened to Be Like Wind and I don't care to.

yeah, Get It Back is wonderful. I just dont like the fade out, but its a great song.

Gigaton was an unexpected delight last year and "Get It Back" was like getting dessert long after you thought you were done. It's got a lot of Matt's quirky hallmarks in the song construction and is well deserving of the comparisons I've seen to Wellwater Conspiracy.
"Be Like Wind" is whatever. An inconsequential little guitar doodle that I don't think I've ever heard before and wouldn't remember even if I had.

Great post.
