This isn’t the Extreme March Madness tournament.

I like Get it Back and prefer it to a few of the songs that ended up on the album, but it sure as heck isnt getting my vote over Small Town.

Because of this tournament, I spent a lot more time listening to Get It Back in the past week and I have to say I have really come around to it.

That said, and the sort of instinct to pull away from a song like Small Town because of its natural arena ready singalong quality, I still gotta vote for Small Town. It’s a gem of a song that provides some release from the sort of heaviness of the first two albums while at the same time giving you a lived in experience in the song.

yeah, that's never gotten old for me -especially at a show where everyone feeds off everyone else's energy. Those live tics are for the folks at the show, not the people listening at home

I’m super tired of it too. And I feel exactly the same way about Indifference. Get it Back is a great song and I have zero reservations about voting for it.

i really like Get It Back. Small Town is another song who's power dwarves its simplicity. the comments EV made to howard stern about the song really made me pay attention to the story of the lyrics more. its interesting that some of the same lines can describe both a rock star and elderly woman.

i also want this to be the first song they play whenever they tour again. i know the story is sad, but its super uplifting in concert. "1,2,3,4,2,3, I seem to recognize your face...." hopefully the show is outside b/c 'i just wanna scream HELLOOOOOO' will blow a roof off. damn, i need live music.

That actually sounds pretty cool. They really should live simulcast the show for the many of us who won’t be there.
