Adorable that Leatherman is still here. In the Moonlight with ease.

oh who could possibly care. I may not vote. Maybe In the Moonlight, which is just boring rather than something I actively dislike

What the fuck is Leatherman still doing in this tournament? In the Moonlight.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

That's no way to talk about a top-tier, top 5 song.

Leatherman is feature fucking rich. The Given to Fly B-side studio version especially.
The lyrics, fun and whimsical at times, tell a story connecting the past to the present. The imagined world you're brought into is lived-in and compelling.
Catchy vocal hooks.
Powerful, yet subdued guitar hook.
Catchy bass line groove. (thanks for pointing that out last round, trag)
Great drums.
It's a beautifully crafted song paced for repeat listens.

Give Leatherman another listen.

As Kevin Davis has pointed out previously, In the Moonlight is no slouch. It's a solid song.
But it's no Leatherman.

This is hard; I relistened to the studio version of Leatherman, and it's great. Jack and Jeff are doing something with that song I've never really heard repeated live. I think I'm still leaning towards Moonlight, but that studio version has a very different feel that I've become accustomed to after hearing the song on bootlegs.

Same. This is actually tough.

I'm going with In The Moonlight. But I don't feel great about it.

I voted for Leatherman because of that studio cut. It's fantastic. So much better than the live version of it.

How did these two make it this far, while in another matchup Nothingman is on the brink of elimination?
