Immortality vs. Oceans

I'd love to vote for Oceans here but Immortality is just too fucking great.

This is really the only close one for me this round. Will have to think about this one for a while

Oceans is great, though I confess I don't love it quite as much as others do. Whereas I do love Immortality just as much as others do. I think Eddie has some slow burn deliveries that are just as good as Immortality, but I don't know that the band ever came together in support of the song quite as well as they do here. For a song to feel so desolate and curiously lush at the same time is quite an achievement. Immortality is one of those songs that is just that good.

Oceans is special, and while I wouldn't feel crushed if it won, I can't quite vote for it here.

Very close and both great. Slight edge to Immortality.

These are 2 songs that others hold in much higher esteem then I do it seems. Still, Immortality gets the vote here.
