Hey all -- long time lurker here and first time posting in a really long time (10+ years?). I'm just wondering how many of you have pets that are named after Pearl Jam in some way (i.e., named after a band member, song, side project, etc.).

My family is looking into getting a dachshund puppy here in the near future so that's what got me thinking about this -- me, my wife and two kids are all throwing in ideas right now trying to come up with a good, unique name for our new dog.

I've suggested Frank (or Dirty Frank) and thought it was appropriate since it is a weiner dog (frankfurter), but couldn't get my family to buy in on that one. I'll think about it some more and hopefully come up with some better names to throw into the mix, but just wondering what PJ-related names you've used in the past for pets.

Forgot to mention, I've had a ferret named Eddie and a cat named Cameron in the past. I think those are the only PJ-related names I've used.

3 pets named after PJ seems too much. Maybe just buy the dog leash and name it Leash.

Just reread that it's a Dachshund. It has to be Anders.

Nothing to do with PJ at all but I've always thought Belvedere would be a good Dachshund name.
