PTA over Carpenter, no question really (+1 Trag). Murray and PSH are a little expected, but still better than Russell and Theron (+2 Trag). Strangelove over Endless Summer (+1 Burt), but Chinatown over Stalker (+1 Trag). Blade Runner is the better 80s movie, and The Matrix is the better 90s movie, even though I'm fond of Before Sunrise (+2 Burt). But Trag takes the 00s easily, No Country over Children of Men (close) and Parasite over Fury Road (not even remotely close).

6-3 Trag.

The point I'd waiver on might be the actors, I could take Theron over Murray. But PSH bests them both, so at best it's 5-4 Trag.

Fury Road is a masterpiece. You're missing out, Mickey.

I don't dislike Fury Road, though I wasn't as impressed with it as some of y'all here. But I think Bong is a world-class filmmaker and Parasite is one of his best.

The Actor categories ended in a draw for me. PSH bests the bunch, though.

History will fully justify my Kurt Russell number 1 pick.

Kurt Russell is a fine pick given what you were building. Very on theme but still probably not even the best on theme pick. But definitely appropriate given the team you wanted to build. Still, #1 was a helluva reach. And in a vacuum, theme team aside, it's kinda inexcusable.
