I'm not really a cake fan, so I'd probably take a small slice and throw most of it away. I'd much rather have a slice of pie (with ice cream or custard, otherwise it's worthless)

I would agree most wedding cake is not impressive.
This cake had a raspberry filling tho.

According to my wife, my mother started sneaking and eating the chocolates embedded in our wedding cake before the reception - and certainly the cake cutting- had begun. I’ve always wanted to ask her if it’s true, but I know she’d just deny it.
