There's a 6-year-old thread on the Pit requesting Vaults 1+2 on vinyl. Today, Santos posted "Ok" in that thread.

Ordered. Holy gougy shipping. Almost $65 with tax.
Yeah, lazy...but good. And hopefully we see the Vic show next.
They hope to ship these in January. I look forward to seeing it sometime in 2022, but it sure as hell won't be January!

I think it just adds evidence to the theory that the "vault" is just not as deep as people imagine.
How many complete, pre-2000 shows do we think exist in the vault? 25? Fewer?

it's a great show, don't get me wrong.
and yeah, i agree with ST, i'm sure there's a lack of complete shows pre-2000. however, there's no reason for them to just pick something--anything--from 93-96, and release it, even if that means digital-only.
the serious collector stuff is getting tired.
a serious collector would take an incomplete show.

I've had my fingers crossed for a vault release to be a compilation for years. "Best of Asia '95" or something like that.

i'd happily fork over money for a compilation.
it's disappointing to wait until august (now November, apparently) for them to toss out something that's already been offered to us. who is sitting on their hands with this stuff? they seem so far behind the 8-ball in handling their back catalog of live shows, which is literally the backbone of this band.

This is a great and very sensible idea, which unfortunately almost guarantees they won't do it.

I’m impressed. I assumed we would hear blowback from people who attended PJ20 demanding that the release was special for them. Maybe I am missing something. I’ll get it once it is on CD. $45 plus shipping is a lot to spend on a show…it costs more than the cost of seeing that show with a friend in 1992, right?
