The first single, Silver Lining, will be on all streaming platforms January 14th, and there will be a second single in a few weeks, This Life, and then the full LP next month with a bonus track, Heart In Your Hands. A vinyl reissue of the album could be a possibility but nothing is confirmed yet. There hasn’t been any talk of planning shows in the near future, but it may be a possibility. The Rockfords is the only full-length studio album recorded by the band and was originally released on February 1, 2000 through Epic Records. The Rockfords were an American rock band formed in Seattle, Washington, United States, in 1999 by Carrie Akre, Chris Friel, and Danny Newcomb of Goodness, Mike McCready of Pearl Jam, and Rick Friel of Jodie Watts.
Not the best side-project. But it's fun pop-rock record. Some great solo's and songs from Mike. He even wrote some lyrics here

Yeah I like this one a lot. I have the cd; and there are some cool songs here.. distress is one of them. It’s a version of Falling Down.
I never listened to the EP they released.

I really liked this. It was like when the absolute best local middle aged band in your town made a CD, except with better equipment.

For some reason I saw this thread and, for about ten seconds, perused it thinking Mike McCready was dead. My brain quickly corrected course, but it was weird.
I think my subconscious logic was: PJ side project > McCready > Mad Season > Layne Staley > dead > but wait I know Layne Staley isn't in this band > now I have two disparate pieces of information floating around in my brain, "McCready" and "dead" > connect dots. Hard to say; the synapses fire so quickly.
I have never heard this album.

I have their live album. It's enjoyable and you can readily hear Mike's love for Cheap Trick.

I also remember now that their song 'Distress' has the same music as the unreleased PJ gem 'Falling Down'.
And if Im not mistaken they had another re-write on that 2nd EP 'Waiting'. 'Puzzles and Games' turned into 'Light Years' and ??
