I'm rather fond of Take The Long Way and I'm not at all fond of Gone.

NAIS is a good song.

Yep, I've gotta vote for NAIS, but it's a bummer to be voting against Take the Long Way this early.

Take the Long Way is pretty good, but it's the song I like the least on Gigaton. Matt lyrics almost knock a song down a few notches for me and the verses don't really grab me. I do like the harmonies on the pre-chorus, and I think the chorus background vocals are my favorite part.

Gone is a bit of plodder, but that chorus does work for me. As I've said many times elsewhere, any time Eddie's voice starts to soar like that, I'm all in.

Still, this is an easy vote for Nothing As It Seems. Quite possibly the best song on Binaural

I just listened to Take the Long Way for the first time in a while. Better than I remembered!

TTLW is one of the best additions to the catalog since the last three albums... But it's no NAIS.

Echoing what others are saying -- I really want to vote for "TTLW" but against "NAIS" I just can't.

Surprisingly, I think this might be TTLW for me.

I like but don't love NAIS. I think it's a great idea, the execution of which doesn't quite land for me.

Take The Long Way made the top 32 last year before losing to Corduroy.

NAIS's best performance was a top 16 in 2018, though it's a fairly regular visitor to the top 32.

You can be sure Gone will be gone by round 2 or 3 of any March Madness, at best.

I'm still baffled by the lack of bass on Take the Long Way

I still believe it was a mixing error that nobody caught

The mix process can be pretty laborious, with a lot of conflicting opinions. No way do they all hang out together while every song is printed. More likely they’re checking in-progress mixes via email.
