Get Right has grown on me to become one of my top songs from Riot Act.

I like all three of these. Crazy Mary was an early classic, even though I don't ever really need to hear it again. I liked the Mike/Boom duels during some of those live performances.
Someday at Christmas is a blast - a great example of how flexible Eddie and the band were outside of their normal wheelhouse. If REM or U2 had covered it it would have sounded like an ill fitting REM or U2 song.
Get Right is such a fun performance that I can forgive Matt's lyrics. Probably top 3-4 on Riot Act for me, which was not always the case.

Would you say you'll be happy when you're crying?

I probably enjoy "Someday at Christmas" and "Get Right" about equally, albeit differently. In this case I'll gladly give the tie to the original song. Love everything about "Get Right."

Going with "Get Right" here. It's taken me a long time to appreciate the song, but Ruddo and WCT championing it have really helped it move the needle for me in recent times. The other two are really good covers, for what it's worth, but if picking one to listen to, I'm gonna get right.

I've really come to love the Jeff/Matt interplay in this song. It's deceptively complex, with that shifting downbeat on the kick, and Jeff holding down a pretty groovy line with equal parts precision and ease. By the time we get to that break in the middle, with the tom fill, the delayed guitar, and the errant "With...", it feels like a big breath of air for those two who've probably been breaking a sweat since the song began.

I wish they'd write more songs in the vein of Get Right. Actually, in the vein of all the uptempo songs on Riot Act.
