Both excellent pieces of ambiguous mood music. But one of these songs has excellent lyrics, an amazing vocal performance, and something to say. And the other is Of the Girl

You’d classify Immortality as ambiguous mood music? It tells a story, has a clear point of view. it has a build and a climax and a dopesick guitar solo. There’s nothing ambiguous about it.

The music - not the overall song. I think it takes a similar base and adds all those excellent pieces to it. But the core elements of Immortality you can envision on a five minute loop. It's what is missing from Of the Girl

Lyrically and thematically ambiguous.
