She opened with Wanna Be Startin’ Something by Michael Jackson. Blew my fucking mind. I just couldn’t understand an artist doing somebody else’s tune like that.

I saw her between her first two releases. She did all the hits from the first album (which was practically the whole album) and then a couple from her upcoming sophomore effort. I distinctly remember her doing I Wanna Dance With Somebody and Didn’t We Almost Have It All.
